LWB at the Training and Study Exchange

From real estate agent to plant mechanic to electronics technician: Leipzig's largest landlord presented itself with the LWB at the City of Leipzig's Ausbildungs- und Studienbörse on 23 and 24 August. At the LWB stand, potential applicants were able to exchange ideas with LWB apprentices and experience first-hand how varied the dual education system is at Leipzig's largest landlord. "There was a lot of interest and lots of good questions," said Victoria Härting, who has been learning with the LWB since 2018. The company is one of the most popular training companies in the industry.

While the majority of visitors were still undecided, some already had a firm career aspiration. "I was at this fair with the LWB for the first time and was surprised at how many good applications were submitted directly at the stand," reported Annika Höhne, a prospective real estate agent. There was also great interest in internships for school students.

The LWB residential school made a great impression on the guests. "Some teachers wanted to make an appointment immediately," said Annika Höhne. The project, unique in Germany, in which LWB trainees teach school classes and young tenants the ABCs of housing, is an integral part of the training.
